There are a number of sources for information:

• Parenting and Family Literacy Centres

An excellent resource for information about workshops, courses and groups of interest to parents is a seasonal flyer which is produced by the Community Education Service, a program of Hamilton Health Sciences, McMaster Children's Hospital, Chedoke Site.

• The Family Resource Centre includes a listing of books and videos for parents

The Hamilton Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program can provide information about caring for your baby/child and family. Parents can also seek information from Health Connections, a program of the Hamilton Public Health Services Department.

Your local library is a good source of resource material on parenting:

• Hamilton Public Library including Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook and Stoney Creek
